First of all, I was incredibly sick on the first day of classes. It seems to have pretty much cleared up now, but talk about bad timing. I'm only taking three classes this semester, because I'm broke and also because they are all upper-levels and I felt like being lazy this semester because I'm almost done this degree anyways. So today I had my third class, the History of France from 1789. It looks awesome, except that the instructor is new to UCFV and you can tell, and also because the class is PACKED. There are 30-something students in it. I am really, really hoping some people drop it. That's just way too many people in one class, plus we are all doing presentations! Anyways, so after class I went to buy (some) of the textbooks. At the till, my debit card wouldn't read (it said "Card Limited, Contact Bank"). And my card isn't limited, so I got out my cell and called my bank. Then they tell me the transaction went through. So I went back into the bookstore, and the lady there called the interac company and they said no, the transaction didn't go through, it was the banks fault. So THEN I had to go all the way over to my bank and tell them to reverse the payment. When I got there she said it wouldn't be done until tomorrow! I was so stressed out and pissed off at this point. I mean, if I had tons of cash in my bank account maybe I wouldn't care, but I don't, and I'm trying to pay tuition here, so I do.
Anyways, after that was all cleared up I went to London Drugs to pick up a prescription (and I got the NYLON magazine for this month. Damn, that is a good magazine. Way better than Jane), and went home. My jeans are soaked from the rain. Stupid rain. When will it stop? When? WHEN?
Now I have to go to work this afternoon and make more money for tuition. And I miss Matthew. Back to busy schedules and hardly seeing anybody.
